If you think about it numbers and maths are the first human language. They are the Universal Language. Numbers are an Earthly science, that can one day turn, any given theory into what we consider a concrete fact. In the viewpoint of mathematician and physicist Sir Isaac Newton, maths is "perfect order". Greek philosopher Pythagoras (approx 580-500BC) believed that numbers are "the essence of all life". Psychologists Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud both believed in the study of numerology, as a means of studying human nature and personalities associated with the vibration of numbers. While both men had different interests within the psychology scope, they both understood the importance of personality traits through numbers.

The scope of psychological characteristic study in numerology is contained between the numbers 1-9. (Although the value zero (0) also has added value into the equation, as well) Numbers fall into a sequence, just as life is a sequence of cycles. In numerology you will also find what is also known as Master Numbers, the main ones being 11 and 22, however serious numerologists study the nature of 33, 44 and so on. Yet, all numbers single or double digit still fall within the 1-9 sequence.

Birthstone (Not to be confused with Zodiac stone)

To find your Birth Stone simply add the numbers together, reducing down to a 9 or below. For example 17.5.1960 = 1+7+5+1+9+6 = 29, 2+9= 11, 1+1= 2. Look through the stones for one that vibrates to the number 2.
